Guernica 37 Chambers warmly congratulates our former colleagues and clients, Mir Ahmad Bin Quasem MP and Hummam Quader Chowdhury MP, on their election to the Jatiya Sangsad in the recent parliamentary elections in Bangladesh.

Their election represents a moment of profound significance. Both men suffered greatly as victims of enforced disappearance under the previous regime, enduring serious violations of their fundamental rights. Their return to public life through a democratic and free electoral process stands as a powerful testament to the resilience of democratic institutions and the will of the Bangladeshi people.
Guernica 37 Chambers is proud to have supported them in their pursuit of justice during some of the most difficult periods of their lives. Their success at the ballot box reflects not only personal courage and perseverance, but also a broader commitment within Bangladesh to accountability, rule of law, and democratic participation.
We are confident that both Mir Ahmad Bin Quasem and Hummam Quader Chowdhury will serve their country with integrity and distinction, whether in government or opposition, and will make a meaningful contribution to Bangladesh’s parliamentary democracy.
Guernica 37 Chambers wishes them every success in their parliamentary work and in their continued service to the people of Bangladesh.
