Bosnia and Herzegovina – 09/09/2022

Bosnia’s Constitutional Court has ruled that Republika Srpska’s public broadcaster, RTRS, slandered the journalist Vladimir Kovacevic who was brutally attacked covering mass protests in Banja Luka four years ago. The full article can be found here.


Albania – 12 September 2022

After blaming Iran for July’s massive cyber-attack on government servers, fresh attacks occurred at the weekend, targeting the Traveller Information Management System, TIMS. The Full article can be found here.


Montenegro – 12 September 2022

Montenegrin and Croatian officials unveiled a memorial on the Croatian island of Vis to a Yugoslav naval officer, who refused to bomb towns on Croatia’s coast in the war in 1991. The full article can be found here.


Bosnia and Herzegovina – 12 September 2022

The Hague Tribunal’s archives have revealed fascinating details about the confidential meeting between Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic and his Croatian counterpart Franjo Tudjman at Karadjordjevo in 1991, when they discussed forming their own expanded states at Bosnia’s expense. Kosovo – 14 September 2022

Annie Puess stated in her closing statement at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague, at the trial of the former Kosovo Liberation Army unit commander Salih Mustafa, that she agrees with the prosecution that the defendant deserves a 35-year prison sentence for wartime crimes. Bosnia and Herzegovina – 14 September 2022

The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo found former Bosnian Army soldier Ibrahim Ceco guilty of physically abusing Serb civilians while they were digging trenches in the Dobrinja neighbourhood of Sarajevo on September 18, 1992. The full article can be found here.


Bosnia and Herzegovina – 15 September 2022

Candidates of eight political parties in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnia’s larger entity, called for faster and more agile prosecution of corruption cases during a public debate held in Bosnia’s capital, Sarajevo. The full article can be found here.


North Macedonia – 15 September 2022
