Bosnia and Herzegovina – 8 April 2025
High Representative Christian Schmidt stated for Austrian media that the sanctions which that country, together with Germany, imposed on the president of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian (BiH)entity Republika Srpska (RS), he sees as the beginning of a new “coalition of the willing.” The full article can be found here.

Romania – 7 April 2025

Kosovo – 04 April 2025
The number of indictments for sexual abuse during the Kosovo war rose last year, a new report says - warning that a lack of judicial cooperation with Serbia continues to hinder justice. The full article can be found here.
Croatia – 4 April 2025
The remains of nine Croatian soldiers and seven civilians killed after the fall of Vukovar in 1991 were formally identified and the families informed on Friday at a ceremony attended by the Minister for Veterans and Chief State Attorney.

Eighty students and academics on bikes who started a “journey of hope” from Novi Sad to Strasbourg reached Hungary. Their aim is to address the Council of Europe and other European institutions in Strasbourg on the ongoing protests in Serbia.

Bosnia and Herzegovina – 3 April 2025
The General Secretariat of Interpol rejected a request to issue a red notice (international warrant) for the President of the Bosnian entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić.
