Human rights

06-Edit.jpg

Members of Chambers advise States, NGOs and individuals on serious human rights violations. Our experience often extends to challenging human rights violations, including breaches of the right to family life, restrictions on freedom of expression, and protection against arbitrary detention.

Members of Chambers are instructed and advise in cases before both domestic and international courts and tribunals, including the European Court of Human Rights, and the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, as well as specialised bodies such as the UN Special Procedures, the UN Human Rights Council, the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, and the Committee Against Torture.

Members actively engage in pro bono work, and have advised organisations such as Amnesty International and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
